To use the newly purchased WiFi modules (ESP series) in your Gaduino blocks, you must follow the steps below.
This process is to adjust the baudrate at which the LTE module communicates.
USB to TTL (CP2102)
WiFi Modules
May look different depending on the model.
Dupont cable (F to F)
Don't need to buy it. It is typically included with CP2102.
Connect as follows:
CP2102 (TXD) - Wi-Fi Module (R, RX, or RXD)
CP2102 (RXD) - Wi-Fi Module (T, TX, or TXD)
CP2102 (+5V) - Wi-Fi Module (V, VCC or VIN)
CP2102 (GND) - Wi-Fi Module (G or GND)
Right-click the window icon on the taskbar.
Select [Device Manager] from the menu.
Under [Ports (COM&LPT)], remember the COM Port number written next to the "Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge" entry.
4. Open the Arduino IDE 2.1.1 (or upper version). Click [Tools] - [Port] in the menu. Select the COM port you remembered from earlier.
and select 115200 for Baud (because the module you bought is set to 115200 bps).
4. Click the magnifying glass button in the upper right.
5. Select 115200 for Baud in the lower right (because the module you bought is set to 115200 bps).
5. Type AT in the text box and press [Enter]. If OK appears, communicating with the Wi-Fi module is fine.
6. Type AT+UART_DEF=9600,8,1,0,0 in the text box and press [Enter]. If OK appears, the baud rate of your module is changed to 9600bps.
